In 2018, I traveled to my beloved Puerto Rico to report on the women rebuilding their communities on the island after the devastation of Hurricane Maria. My writing, for Vogue’s “American Women: Transformers” issue, was accompanied by stunning images by award-winning photographer Richard Mosse.
